The IT Systems Administrator will help manage our company's IT assets. You will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of technologies and to grow your career while being a valuable member of our team. Diagnose customer technical problems and provide creative solutions and alternatives that meet business needs. Duties and Responsibilities: IT Administration of Windows and some Linux servers, monitoring, and patching. PC desktop support Participate in larger IT projects Provide excellent technical support to all employees Troubleshooting issues, system errors, and outages Vulnerability and remediation administration Approve and administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights. Project management for business-critical systems Develop training materials and procedures, or train users in the proper use of hardware or software. Change Management oriented with strong documentation skills Research and recommend improvements to existing systems, processes, and workflows Manage and monitor availability of systems. Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service. Involvement with compliance and security policies Who you are Service Minded. You deliver customer support like you expect to receive it; with excellence. You have a strong background in network troubleshooting, implementation and VPN configuration Builder. Experience planning, implementing and supporting systems with the desire and ability to learn new applications and tools Results-oriented. You have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the ability to effectively prioritize and execute activities in a high-pressure just in time environment. You adhere to and analyze standards and procedures for workflow and change management. Communicator. You have an ability to establish great rapport with people, and you have a track record working with customers. You work successfully alongside customers and employees who are technical and non-technical when executing your daily responsibilities and contributing to cross-functional projects of broad scope Experienced. BA in Engineering, Information Systems or related technical field 3+ years of corporate infrastructure experience preferably in a software development environment 4+ years of experience in administration of Windows/Linux environments.
