We are currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join the team to take on the challenge of managing a transitional step in our high growth organisation. You will serve as an integral member of our Finance Team. The Accounting Manager is responsible for many activities of the company, including but not limited to Accounts Payable, Commission Plan, Royalty Payment, Debt Management, Payroll Accounting, and General Ledger. Qualified candidates will have proven track record of progressive experience in an accounting department, and will excel in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. A keen eye and attention to detail is critical, as are proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work well in an environment with competing demands. Responsibilities: Manage the daily operations of the accounting department including commission/royalties’ calculation, payroll, debt, inter-company transactions, and account reconciliations. Work closely with accounts payable team members to ensure accurate recording and representation of expenses, including necessary accruals for outstanding or unreceived invoices. Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for judgmental/complex accounting areas. Identify, implement, and improve policy, processes, systems and tools to streamline and drive efficiency as the company scales. Complete ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis, as well as special projects as needed. Assisting with the coordination with external auditors for the year-end audits, tax returns preparation and statutory requirements. Who you are: Service Minded. You have an ability to establish great rapport with people, and you have a track record working with customers. You work successfully alongside customers and employees who are technical and non-technical when executing your daily responsibilities and contributing to cross-functional projects of broad scope. Experienced BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field is preferred. Experience with SaaS clients or at a SaaS company is a huge plus. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations. Exemplary history of financial project management. Experience performing common accounting and financial analysis, presenting results and trends, and making actionable recommendations. Established and detail-orientated self-starter with experience working in a hands-on environment. Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus.
